In line with its 10th anniversary, Riot Games, one of the largest global video games companies, and publisher of, League of Legends and many other titles, decided it was time to give their corporate website riotgames.com, a refresh. 

Having provided digital services to Riot Games for over 3 years at the time, Clock was appointed to help reimagine the site powered by its custom CMS. 

Diversity, inclusion and culture

With more than 2,500 employees working in over 20 offices around the world, it was important for Riot to showcase their key values - Diversity, Inclusion and Riot Culture, as they continue to evolve the League experience both in and out of game. 

The existing site looked outdated, was not mobile responsive and had multiple levels of navigation leading to lots of confusion for users. The aim was to present a multilingual,  corporate shop window with a playful element that showcased their philosophy.

A modern reflection for a modern company

A simple UX resulted in a new platform that pointed users to 3 fundamental pillars that enabled visitors to quickly find out what they wanted - ‘Who We Are’, ‘What We Do’ and ‘Work With Us’.

Supporting full internationalisation, the new site overcame the limited capabilities of the previous one, alongside a seamless and playful user experience that reflects the character and ethos of the company

Whether looking for the latest news from the Press Center, or looking for jobs in the engaging Work With Us section, the new Riot Games corporate site fully caters for its target audiences. 

Not only is the site highly performant, intuitive and engaging to interact with, the implementation of Clock’s custom CMS to power the multilingual site has enabled the Corporate Communications and Human Resources teams to streamline workflow efficiency and allow editors to quickly and easily update content.
