Leicester Tigers required a brand new mobile app to start the 2017/18 Aviva Premiership season. Having completed an overhaul of the Tigers' website, we were asked to reimagine the mobile app. The existing app simulated the aged appearance of the clubs old website whilst lacking the capability of being able to interact with their fans.
Clock worked with the Tigers team to design and build a mobile app that takes advantage of a number of features from the new site as well as offering some unique elements that make use of native functionality.
Our design team ensured Tigers’ world-famous green, white and red colours are well represented and that the user experience is as simple as it can be. We then embarked on building the app so that it works synchronously with the new website to share even more content, meaning users can receive all of the latest news stories, video content and team updates straight from their pocket.

Well, it took a little longer than that! We hope the launch of the new mobile app will bring fans even closer to the action. It has already received a great reaction making it into the top 20 free sports apps in the App Store. This is only the first step in the development of Leicester Tigers ongoing mobile strategy and we will continue to work together to optimise and grow Tigers' digital presence.
