Bauer Media Group asked Clock to create a compelling brand for their new loyalty programme, VIP, which offers exclusive rewards to a diverse audience across 28 radio stations.

Creating A Palette

Clock came up with a dynamic brand identity that was strong in its own right, but worked alongside the well-established radio brands. The striking geometric brand icon is bold and engaging, with a premium ‘VIP’ feel. A bright palette of colour gradients allows for customisation to each radio station, plus a grid structure means in-house designers can combine colours, fonts and imagery into vibrant unique compositions: personalisation within a brand family. Clock designers worked closely with key stakeholders at Bauer Media to create a comprehensive set of guidelines that would ensure that their in-house designers could get the most of this very versatile system, creating customised VIP identities for each of their stations, whilst still retaining the cohesion and weight of one overarching identity.
