Sony engaged Clock to reimagine the LittleBigPlanet online. The site is the online home for the LittleBigPlanet gaming community and the new version supported the launch of the latest game LittleBigPlanet 3. We were intrinsically involved in the project from the outset: immersing ourselves in the game and gaming culture, helping Sony create their brief, develop the strategy and bring the concept to life.
The community is at the heart of LBP, so the digital strategy needed to reflect this and reinforce it. Clock delivered a beautifully designed, powerful and versatile hub that captured the imagination and passion of the user base. With loads of new and advanced features, a high degree of personalisation and an intuitive interface, the site really encourages users to discover, explore and contribute. Advanced connectivity with the game takes the second-screen experience to new levels, significantly increasing dwell time.
The culmination of the project saw Clock delivering detailed user experience and style guides to Sony, so they could build the site in-house. The result? A fantastic extension to the LBP brand, which reflects the voice, tone and imagery of the franchise, helps with the acquisition and retention of online users and provides a seamless journey from game to online, bringing the gaming community unparalleled access to the LBP world.
