Clock are proud to present the new Social Gaming Application for The New Football Pools.
It's been a mammoth project throughout 2009 featuring some of Clock's finest creative and technical bods.
What is a social gaming application we hear you say? Well, it's not a website.
The application allows The New Football Pools to embed and seamlessly integrate their gaming products into third party websites and communities enabling users to interact and place bets on football events with their friends and fellow fans.
In the blink of an eye, The New Football Pools can now reach users who otherwise might not have engaged with their brand previously. This is very much in keeping with Clock's mindset of creating internet applications that are non-url specific and engage with users across multiple platforms and environments. It also represents a world's first in the e-gaming industry.
Already, the application has attracted a massive increase in users and currently resides on The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mail and The London Metro Fantasy Football offerings. We'll be extending this to a number of high traffic portals who are interested in adding social functionality to their communities both in the UK and internationally.
The application is very much in Phase 1. Before Spurs have played themselves out of the title race (v soon), we'll be adding loads of new features and games. We're very nearly finished on a new integrated Match Centre, which plugs you right into the heart of the action, live, as it happens, and is going to win us many new fans from around the globe. You'll see it shortly on a number of other third party websites, who's users obviously get all the benefits.
This was a massive technical undertaking for all involved. Our tech team will explain this in more detail shortly, but it's a great example of how our creative and technical teams can work together to build business critical, enterprise solutions under one roof.
So well done to everyone involved. And, of course, to our friends at the New Football Pools. It’s been an absolute honour.
We'll keep you posted with the latest appearances of the application as they happen, in some kind of match centre I imagine.
